Today I went to Shenzhen to celebrate my second anniversary with my boyfriend. He’s now working in Shenzhen which is near Hong Kong, so we decided to have dinner together to celebrate our anniversary.

I’ve passed the customs several times. It’s very convenient to pass through despite of many people there. It feels a bit strange to pass the customs: different sights on different sides.
Shenzhen is a diversified city where we can eat almost every kind of cuisines in the world. We ate Sichuan style dishes because my he prefers spicy food. Then we had some delicious cakes for dessert. It’s always sweet to be with him. Happy anniversary to both of us.

I went to Shenzhen Bookshop today. The books in mainland China are much cheaper than in Hong Kong. So I’d rather buy books in mainland China.

Shenzhen Bookshop is a comprehensive bookshop. You can enjoy meals, listen to music, and buy books as well as purchase electronic products there. I had an ice-cream in KFC and then walked around to search for what I wanted.

Through computers in the bookshop, I could find out whether or not they are selling the books that I want. It’s a pity that I couldn't find one. So I turned to Taobao which is a website like eBay. Books on Taobao are far cheaper even than in Shenzhen Bookshop. In the end, I bought the book on the Internet with a very low price.

I’ve become interested in bread recently, and I ate almost every kind of bread in Croissants de France in Shenzhen. My friend told me that the bread in TASTE was very delicious. So I bought three different kinds of bread as my supper, and at the same time to satisfy my “big stomach”.The pizza was very good and I don’t think pizza of Pizzahut is better than it. But the sweet bread wasn’t so good. Maybe I should have chosen other kinds of bread.

To my surprise, bread in Taste was almost at the same price as it in Croissants de France. That is to say, when I eat bread in Hong Kong, there is no need for me to worry about high prices. That’s wonderful!

As usual, I had MKT Intelligence of China Business this morning. I have to say, I really enjoy the courses in CityU. This course is kind of statistics. However, it is more practical. I’ve already learnt statistics in my home university. But what I’ve learnt were just theories and formulas, and in CityU, I can apply what I’ve learnt to real business. It’s wonderful to analyze China economy in different periods with my knowledge and software. I can feel my knowledge is fresh and lively!

I didn’t have class today. So I went Shopping in Mong Kok. I’ve been to Mong Kok several times, and it’s really a good place for girls. I enjoy walking through different small shops and being dazzled by a variety of items. I like small accessories in the Ladies’ Market most. Every time I went there, I will buy some colorful items such as necklace, rings, and bracelets and so on. But I haven’t bought clothes from small shops because I prefer something with good quality to wear. Shopping may be every girl’s hobby. I bought a lot of things in Mong Kok today. Perhaps I should begin saving money~
